5 Games To Anticipate This Fall Season

There’s been a lot of hype for the fall of 2018 not only because of the cooler weather, Halloween, and Thanksgiving, but because of the games that will be coming during the season. Popular publishers are scheduled to release their biggest hits including Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, and Bethesda. If you’re one of the many who’s excited about the anticipated titles, you are more than likely ready to open up your wallet so you can enjoy the holiday months more thoroughly.

 

Most of these games can be played on several platforms so it doesn’t matter if you have only have a PS4, Xbox One, Switch or a PC because the chances of you playing your anticipated game are high. In case you don’t have a console platform yet, you can easily get one or all if you choose to since the sales are also coming for this year.

 

The same can be said for a gaming laptop since you don’t need to assemble anything. If you plan to get a gaming rig, you can purchase a set in a bundle or customize your own. If you want to build your own PC, there are tools you can use to ensure you hit the requirements, compatibility, your budget.

 

Here are the top x games to anticipate this fall 2018:

 

Soul Calibur VI

 

Bandai Namco is coming out the 6th installment of their Soul Calibur series on October 19, 2018. Some of the most well-known characters will be there including Astaroth, Ivy, Kilik, Siegfried, and Sophitia. One of the most anticipated features of the new game will be the inclusion of guest DLC characters like Geralt from the Witcher series and some new characters. Soul Calibur 6 will be playable on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

 

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

 

One of the biggest things that fans of the COD franchise will anticipate in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be the online play. Its past titles were known for its story campaign modes. Additionally, competitive play has been brought back including cooperative zombie survival mode. It will also feature a new mode called “Blackout” which is similar to the popular battle royale mode of games like PUBG and Fortnite. You can expect to play the game on October 12 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

 

Red Dead Redemption 2

 

Since the release of the first one 8 years ago, fans have been clamoring for a sequel and Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally going to be released on October 26. Fans will see Arthur Morgan return again to the fictitious Wild West. The open world game will be set in the late 1800s and you will soon be treated to a variety of missions, secrets,  and a wide range of characters. The game is available for Xbox One and PS4.

 

Hitman 2

 

Fans will see Agent 47 return in Hitman 2 on November 13 of this year. There have been several videos teasing the many features of the game including different weapons as well as other tools to help him “finish the job.” There will be new locations and all of the ones that were in Hitman will be playable in the sequel.

Fallout 76

 

Unlike previous titles from the beloved Bethesda franchise, the new Fallout 76 will feature online play for the first time. Fans can expect a post-apocalyptic survival game in an expansive open-world setting. Since the new game will be multiplayer, gamers can expect to team up and they have a choice to join others to push quests or to eradicate them from the face of the earth.

 

The map is said to be four times larger than Fallout 4 and this is to accommodate the massive number of online players. The beta will be released on October 30 for the PS4 and PC and those who have preordered the game will have access to it. Fallout 76 will be completely released on November 14 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

 

Are You Ready?

 

While a number of titles that were initially scheduled for 2018 were pushed back to 2019 does not mean that you can’t enjoy the games that will be coming out this year. This only means that you have a lot more time to play the most anticipated titles of this year. There are a lot more games that will be released shortly that are not mentioned above.
